Mesothelioma is one of the most deadly cancers in the world that is lacking awareness. Mesothelioma facts are very important to list them in open areas where everybody can read. 1. Mesothelioma is caused by exposure to asbestos:
Asbestos is a natural mineral that is used to insulate buildings from fire and heat. Once these particles which are invisible to the eye are inhale, the fibers may infect the protective lining of the lungs, abdominal cavity or cardiac cavity causing cancer.

2. No amount of exposure can keep you safe:
No amount of exposure to asbestos fiber is safe. Once you inhale the particles of asbestos, you are at risk for developing mesothelioma later on in life. The average latency period for the disease to start showing is about 30 – 40 years.
